The
layout of the arena with the entrance to and exit from
the ice, judge's stand, etc. will be forwarded to each
participant upon receipt of the team entry form.
CITIZENSHIP/
RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS
In
accordance with ISU Rule 109 and ISU Communication No.
1117, all skaters who do not have the nationality of
the Member by which they have been entered or who, although
having such nationality, have in the past represented
another Member, must produce an ISU Clearance Certificate.
MUSIC
All
teams shall provide their competition music of excellent
quality, on magnetic tapes (either Cassette, or CD (Compact
Disk). The team must submit two (2) copies for each
program at the time of registration. All cassettes or
CD's must be properly inserted in their original container
and be clearly identified with the name of the team,
the category (junior/senior/novice), the type of program
(short program/free skating) and must show the exact
running time of the music (not skating time). Please
see Form 4.
HOTEL
ACCOMODATION
The
Four Points - Panorama Hotel is the official Hotel for
Judges, Referees and ISU (capacity of 160 rooms and
suites - 350 persons). The Four Points - Panorama Hotel
is located across the street from "Dom sportova"
Arena. Transportation will not be necessary to and from
the event.

Reservations
have to be made directly to the hotel on a first come
first serve basis. For those who want accommodation
in other hotels, there is a list of hotels (which support
Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy 2005) with special prices on
Form HI-2.
A
priority for accommodation in official hotel will be
according to receiving order of entries.
Favorable conditions will be offered to the teams (see
Hotel conditions attached - Forms HI-1 and HI-2).
Meals will be available at the Hotel Panorama (for teams
accommodated there) or in the restaurant in Dom sportova
Arena, both with a special rate of EUR 12,- per
meal (See Form 6).
Accommodation and meals for participating teams is at
their own expense.
TRANSPORTATION
Teams
arriving in Croatia by coach will be independent (organized
parking place by Four Points - Panorama Hotel or by
Dom sportova Arena).
For the other teams a bus will be available at cost
(See Form 8).
The Organizing Committee grants the transportation of
the invited Referees and Judges from/to Zagreb Airport
or Railway Station.
ICE
RINK
Arena
"Dom sportova" is located at Trg sportova
(opposite from official Four Points - Panorama Hotel)
almost in the center of Zagreb. Easy to be reached:
30 minutes by car from Zagreb Airport, 10 minutes by
car from the Railway Station.
"Dom sportova" has a capacity of 5.000 seats.
The ice surface in size 30 x 60 m is artificial and
arena will be warmed up during the competition.
PRACTICE
ICE
The
official practice will start on Friday, February 25,
2005. Each team will be allowed a 10 minute period of
official practice ice for the Short Program and 12 minute
period for the Free Skating Program, free of charge.
No extra practice ice will be available after the Official
Draw.

DRAW
The
Opening Draw Ceremony will be made on Thursday, February
24, 2005 at 18:30 (see PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE) at the
Four Points - Panorama Hotel or at Dom sportova Arena
(to be determined). The intermediate draw will take
place at the Arena (close to warm up space) immediately
after the end of the Short Program.
OPENING
CEREMONY
The
Opening Ceremony will be held at Dom sportova Arena
on Friday, February 25, 2005, at 16:00.
Three skaters from each team will take part in this
ceremony as banner carriers.
MEDALS
AND TROPHIES
Trophies
will be presented to the wining team in each category.
Medals will be presented to the top three finishing
teams in each category.
COMPETITORS
PARTY
The
Competitors Party will be held on Saturday, February
26, 2005 at 22:30.

LIABILITY
In
accordance with ISU Rule 119, Croatian Figure Skating
Federation and the Organizing Committee for the competition
accepts no liability for injury or damage sustained
by competitors or officials. The Organizing Committee
will not be providing participant insurance coverage
for the event. Each Member is expected to provide its
own insurance protection. The Organizing Committee will
provide emergency medical services for all participants
during the competition and official practice.
MEDICAL
INFORMATION
Each
team manager should be able to give important medical
information for each skater for use in case of emergency/accident.
Such information should include but is not limited to
the following, and will greatly help local medical and
emergency personnel:
- allergies
- existing
medical conditions (i.e. asthma)
- current
medications
- immunizations
- blood
type
- use
of glasses, contact lenses, dental appliances
allergies
DOPING
CONTROL
Anti-doping
tests may be carried out in accordance with the valid
The World Anti-Doping Code (ISU Anti-Doping Rules /
Communication 1280, ISU Anti-Doping Procedures / Communication
1281, ISU Procedures for Blood Testing / Communication
1282 or any further update of this Communications).
PUBLICITY
WAIVER
Each
individual and/or team, waive any and all rights to
financial remuneration or other compensation for the
use or reproduction of their image or likeness, or that
of their synchronized skating team, and grant permission
to use same, as or in publicity prior to, during or
following the Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy 2005, in Zagreb,
Croatia.
TICKETS
Each
team participating will be provided with 6 free passes
(Team Manager, Coach, Assistant Coach, Medical Person,
two (2) Team Service Personnel) and one (1) for Team
Leader per participated ISU Member. The Organizer will
reserve extra tickets at price of 2 EUR ticket/day.
